In Kellys 1895 directory relating to Bradbourne – "Lea Hall is a township belonging ecclesiastically to Bradbourne"

Lea Hall was enclosed in 1776

21^st December 1788 Release from the Right Honerable Lord Viscount Townend to William Fitzherbert Esq all the right and interest to the manor of Lea in the county of Derby for the sum of £1000.
